Are Acer Laptops Good?

by nster1 / March 27, 2007 1:55 AM PDT

I'm considering buying an Acer laptop at a really good price. For those of you who have experience, are Acer laptops as safe a buy as HP, Dell, Lenovo....
Thanks for your input

Acer makes good laptops, but according to users on other forums, you can get a better quality with a Dell, HP, Toshiba or Lenovo laptop.

Acer makes a good product. Having said that, check the software package. You might want to spend your money elsewhere because some of the really good deals don't have any software to speak of. The other thing to watch is the hard drive. Acer's Recovery package is in a seperate and very large partition.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
