After trying a few solutions, the problem with screen sharing on my previous post on the 10.7.1 Lion clients after the10.7.1 update seems to be fixed by simply unchecking and re checking the Remote Management box in system prefs. The only downside is that you have to visit each client individually to check/uncheck the remote management etc in sharing prefs.
I have just returned after summer break to find that Apple Remote desktop will not connect or screen share/control with Lion 10.7.1.clients after the update. Previously the 10.7 upgrade appeared to work ok and control and share normally. I'm still running 10.6.7 on my servers and all the Snow Leopard clients work with ARD normally. I have tried a 10.7.1 MBP and Snow Leopard running ARD to 10.7.1 clients and still no screen sharing etc. Fortunately I havent upgraded to Lion on all 300 of my network Macs only a handful to bugtest etc. I havent had much time to look into it yet but have others experienced any similar problems?
