so the other day i was looking at archos's website and saw the Gmini 500 but i looked again and now it's not there....anyone heard anything about it?

well i did find it but it's not available in the u.s...anyone know if it's going to be released here?

I am a consultant to Archos and can answer your question. The Gmini 500 is a product developed for the European market and is not available in the U.S. The company is in the process of developing a U.S. specific Web site to help avoid any confusion in the future.
U.S. products are the AV 700, AV 500, Gmini 402, Gmini 402 Camcorder and Gmini XS 100.
Hey Saw the posting and had to say something. I saw the same thing and if you look now I think the gmini is back on the website. I actually called Archos, cause I'm thinking about getting a pvp, and they said it's only avaiable in Europe now he said keep watching cause it might be out in the US sometime in April, wheather he knew what is talking about I don't know, so the consulting guy might be right....I guess I didn't really answer your question, sorry. But I've seen it and it would be nice to have that extra 10Gb to play with.
