Archos Gmini 402 additional storage help

Oct 2, 2005 9:41AM PDT

I know the Gmini 402 acts as a USB host but it can only use devices with their own power sources. My question is, are there any storage devices that would be portable and still have their own power source (like they are rechargeable or use batteries)?

I was hoping to find something descently portable (that I could easily carry in a backpack) and that has a pretty descent storage size (atleast a couple of gigs).

It would be very helpful if someone could post a list of items like this or tell me if any even exist. Thanks for the help.

Try one of those Vosonic enclosures you find at google.com

Do I understand this correctly?

The Vosonic enclosure holds a standard hard drive and simply powers it so that I can access it through a USB drive?
