Archos av500 mpeg-4 translator problems,

hey, i am trying to figure out how to work the mpeg-4 translator for the archos av500. ive installed the nessecary things like the divx thing but then it says i need to installl virtual dub. i've have tried this but it still says i need virtual dub?? please help.
