Archos 604 (30GB) vs. Toshiba Gigabeat (30GB)

by Jbjuice10 / November 24, 2006 8:16 AM PST

I'm trying to decide between the two. I'm listen to music all of the time, but also watch movies a lot. I'm torn between the gigabeat, which i'd use more for music because of it's size convenience, and the archos, which would be better for movies. Anyone have any pro's and con's or anything from personal experience to offer? I'm not worried about the price or size as factors because I already know about them. Thanks in advance for the help.

the Cowon A2. This little beast is the monster(not literally) of PVPs. It beats out Archos and Toshiba in almost every category. Please check out the A2 in CNET reviews and on the web. I know you will be more than pleased with this model. Does everything the Archos and Gigabeat does and more!! And no I dont work for Cowon. They are around $300 I think. Not sure though. Good luck!

Don't forget the creative vision w. It's better than the gigabeat with 4.3 inch true widescreen. It comes in 30g and 60g versions and the resolution on it is sick. Follow the advice of the previous poster and check out the Cowon A2 and also check out the creative vision w. Maybe you'll find they're better than first two players you had in mind.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
