I can't guess what changed since this worked but google that error message to read priors and see what matches.
Here I would not put it past an antivirus to block like that.
Quite unexpectedly last week, after trying to load up BF1, I encountered an issue in which i couldnt even get the the menu and it froze when the spinning circle icon was in view. Then i discovered the notifcation "Application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware ".
This seems to also happen when playing other games, both high GPU intensive and low. I figured it was the drivers but apparently not. I tried installing older drivers, waiting for the latest one, all to no avail. Ive tried adding a registry delay to the driver, still doesnt work.
The GPU isnt overheating, averaging around a 33 C temperature. Ive tried resetting the PC, turning off windows firewall, cleaning dust from the GPU itself, as well as reinstalling games and steam/origin.
At this point i dont know what i can do.
All I know it is defiantly something to do with the GPU itself as when i uninstall all nvidia drivers and use the basic windows one, games load, but obviously with the worst performance.
My PC specs are as following :
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770K CPU @ 3.50GHz
Video Card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680
RAM 16 GB
Operating System Microsoft Windows 10 (build 14393), 64-bit
