Question

Apple Watch App | Avery Eisenreich

Mar 31, 2015 2:59AM PDT

Hi,

I recently updated my Apple Devices to iOS 8.2. The update added a new app for Apple Watch to each of them. I am not interested in purchasing the Apple Watch in the near future. Is there a way to delete it so it does not take up unnecessary space? Please let me know.

But there's a lot of other code for other things we might not use in almost every iOS version so your question could be extended to a lot of other areas. What if I didn't use NFC? (I don't) I could be asking how to eject all NFC support code!

Moving it to back-up seems like the only answer. I know I got at least 3 apps added to my phone when I last updated my phone. (It had been a while.)
