Apple Stock Up on 30th birthday speculation

Mar 13, 2006 2:09AM PST

Seems like we're not the only ones expecting cool stuff from Apple on its 30th birthday.

Citigroup upgraded Apple from "hold" to "buy" today and their stock is now up nearly 4% this morning on speculation of coming birthday products.

They also expect new Intel-based PowerMacs and IBooks (no-brainer) so it isn't just iPod speculation.

"ConfIRMation" and more Touch Screen info

Argh... stupid mistype. I meant Confirmation not Confrimation Happy

Anyhow this link shows some illustrations of possible touch screen interface elements. Some of them are actually pretty fascinating like how you might indicate zoom-in/zoom out with your finger and thumb.

Given the recent interest flop with the Origami concept, I hope this has more to do with an uber-iPod video than some tablet PC.

Kevin, Nice links and info from you.
Only a typo?

You wouldn't believe it, yet there is a Lieutenant, Kevin Smith, on the Abington, MA police force. Looks just like you. Older than you are.
Kevin and I are friends. I receive all the nasty telephone calls directed to him. His telephone is non-published.
Do you have any relatives on the east coast?
Thanks,

-The other Kevin Smith, also on a Mac professionally.

... then don't expect Krose to expose all the new products before they're released, like he did at Macworld. Sad
