Apple power book G4

May 24, 2005 5:08PM PDT

Hi All,

After dumping Dell 700m, my alternative was Fujitsu
P 7010. Here in Australia it is AU$3499. It is a bit too much for 10.4inch screen and 1.2GHz processor.

I have made an assessment that I really need a lightweight notebook to read and type , word documents and Power point, pdf documents.

I have purchased powerbook G4 12.1 inch screen and a full keyboard.

I will use: 'openoffice' for MAC from openoffice.org
for word, power point and excel compatibility.

There is Adobe reader from MAC.
Firefox and safari for MAC as browser.

Virtual PC from ebay to run windows based textbook programmes.

rest everything comes in the powerbook.

Will let you know how I get along.

Any ideas or suggestions for a MAC owner.

Thanks

Pankaj
