Apple Pay, Venmo, Samsung Pay, Paypal - Why Do You Use Them?

Sep 14, 2015 4:55PM PDT

Hey All,

I'm conducting research in my University about mobile payment options and why people choose them...

Why do you use these mediums instead of traditional mediums like Visa Card and Mastercard? When do you decide to choose/not choose mobile payment? What do you feel this way??

Would really appreciate your opinions on this everyone, might help us improve our understanding of this new technology.

Thanks!!! - C

Sorry Apple and others, I'm sticking with cash and traditional payment systems.

Benny Hill, if you like slapstick, wonderful. "Ernie" the fastest milkman in the west.

Thanks, but could you tell me why you are sticking with cash and traditional payments?

Traditional payments because I have those. Reducing your exposure to exploits is a good thing!

since apple pay is only for ios devices, samsung pay is not available yet, never heard of Venmo and will not have nothing to do with paypal I am stuck with cash at the moment. Besides for the most part, mobile payments are not available in my area unless I go to mcdonalds or subway. I will look at samsung pay when it becomes available and might look at currentc if it is ever released since both will be more widely accepted.

You did not mention android pay but it too is too limited in my area.
