Apple Mail - attachments don't FORWARD, how do you do this ?

Nov 17, 2005 12:01AM PST

Hi,

I've tried over and over to FORWARD a message that I receive (which has attachments) to other people and the attachments are NOT forwarded. Under Entourage I was able to do this by simply hitting FORWARD. Is there a setting in Apple Mail (10.4) for this ? If so, I can't find it.

Thanks,

Ed

As you say

this should work the same as Entourage did. I thought I did it all the time. However, there may be a preference that you need to set to enable Mail to forward attachments. You are undoubtedly doing it correctly. Check the Mail Preferences and see if there is anything about forwarding email.
I have no OS X machine here but can check later for you if you don't find anything

Problem solved

Hey,

Thanks for the reply. Actually, I now believe that it was just one email that was misbehaving. I was able to forward another one this morning, worked the same as Entourage. I should have checked other messages.

Thanks again,

Ed
