Now go and find your nearest Apple Center and ask if they handle the warranty if you buy it from them and how much it costs to extend the warranty to 3 years. You wouldn't like to send it back to China if there's any issue, would you? Unless, of course, you happen to live in or quite nearby Fuzhou City so you can visit them personally, but you didn't tell that.

that there has been a lot of problems recently within China itself between the Chinese authorities and those who are making fake Apple products and selling them. Mainly iPhones, but who knows what else?

I've heard that some have been arrested. But then China is a huge country with a large population. I have to wonder if the authorities will catch them all.

Is this Chinese company an approved maker/seller for Apple products? May be Apple would know.
