i'm likely going to pick up the 13 inch pro but was wondering...after the built-in battery finally wears out, do you just send it to apple for a replacement?

Check Apple Care Warranty (if you're going to get it)

i've read an Apple genius can replace the battery if the Mac is brought into an Apple store. i think i'd only have to pay for the actual replacement battery, not the installation. well i hope so anyway...thanks

thanks a bunch...i see they offer a replacement service for the 17" Pro, so surely they'll be one for the entire Pro line now that they're all non-user replaceable. it seems that page just needs an update....good news nonetheless!
