Apple Loops (Garageband)

Apr 17, 2008 3:47PM PDT

Recently I have downloaded and bought a garageband like program called mixcraft. I am using mixcraft 3 build 25. It comes with great loops but I also like all of the garageband loops. I was wondering if I could download the original garageband loops that come with iLife '06. I'm Not too keen on iLife '08 loops but if you can't find anything else that is ok. OGG, WAV, AIF, MP3 and WMA are all supported formats.

Maybe if anyone has a mac they could upload the loops to a site and let be download them from there?

Any help is appriceated.

Questionable at best

Apparently you have GarageBand 08 and don't like the loops provided with it.

If you know that you liked the 06 loops better, would that mean that you also had a copy of GarageBand 06?

If that is the case, you already have the loops.

If it is not the case, then what makes you think that they are available for free and that someone else giving them to you is not a breach of copyright?

Care to explain exactly how you see this as legal?

Since you feel you have the rights to this, a simple way to find out the right answer is to head to the Apple Store and ask for the loops for free. If it's free you'll get it in one visit or be rebuffed.
