I don't think it's your phone's problem then. You should try check your router or your modem's connection and reset the router

it seems to be stuck.

Take yourself and your phone and go to somewhere that has a free wireless hotspot.

Does it connect to that one?

Yup. Most likely your home router

I've had exactly the same problem. Seems like it would be the phone, as other wireless devices like my smart TV and even Macbook Pro would continue to work normally, as well as anything hardwired. But there are little settings within WiFi that can get messed up that can only affect one or two devices. IOS devices are not always as robust or forgiving of these minor connection errors. I've been able in every case to reset the modem (unplug it wait a couple of minutes and replug it) in order to get IOS devices to work normally on my home network. I have UVerse, and every once in a while something gets screwed up like my landline phones- this usually happens when AT&T does an automatic software upgrade. Anyway, if your wifi works at a hotspot or another place where you know others can connect, it is likely a problem with your router/modem. You can call your ISP and deal with those clueless folks if resetting doesn't help.

Of course, if you can't get on no matter where you are, you need to call AppleCare.
