Apple, Beatles, and the "One more thing..."

by shawnlin / August 31, 2007 9:45 AM PDT

I knew "the beat goes on" was related to the Beatles and possibly a clue that their catalog (or a portion of it) would be released...

However, *if* this comes to pass on the Sept. 5th, 2007 Apple event, I think the "one more thing..." will be a live appearance (and perhaps performance) by John McCartney and/or Ringo Starr...

...what do ya think? yes? no? let the speculation begin! Wink

Best,
Shalin

if the big live performance happens, I think Jobs will realize it can't quite get better for him, would like to go out on top and will do one of these things...

1) Say he's leaving Apple ("retiring") by year's end
2) Give notice he will quit in ~1yr
3) Formerly present 1 or several higher ups that may end up being the successor to the company after he leaves...

Best,
Shalin

Paul Lennon and Ringo Harrison are my favorite Beatles. Third place goes to Stu Best.
(Sorry Shalin, I *HAD* to)

But I consider the Beatles one of my all-time favorites...

Really, I'm simply disappointed in myself. (shrug)
