Jan 31, 2006 10:09AM PST

I am not trying to be a crazy apple enthuses but when searching though google videos I found something very interesting. This 1984 apple ad.

I watched it and thought it was very weird but I noticed one very weird thing after watching it again. An IPOD hanging on the ladies waist as she flung the hammer?? odd huh. Ipod not come out till 2001. I look at the same one by someone else and saw that the ipod was gone.

If anyone has any info post.

Apple themselves redid the ad in 2004, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Macintosh computer.

In the "Influence" section, you'll find:

In 2004, to celebrate the Macintosh's 20th anniversary, Apple released a modified version of the commercial with the heroine now wearing an iPod.

Macflash, I have only a thank you for showing this.
Simply amazing to view. Nice job on your part to show us.
Saw on tonight's national news that Apple is lowering the price on the Nano ipod.
Who thought that the Nano ipod would be in someone's dream in 1984!?
Nice info from you. Keep it coming.
