Today, I requested online support from Microsoft regarding my account and how to buy a movie from Microsoft Store using my gift card instead of my credit card. I got online and Julie B was the support person. After about ten minutes, she said she could not help me and that I should go to Bing Support instead of Account Support. I said, "Fine, would you give me the URL for Bing Support?". After a couple of minutes she responded with this: http://www.contactcustomerservicenow.com/contact-bing-customer-service/ Whoa! This has nothing to do with Microsoft. It is a private service, and I suspect would end up costing me money for what should be free advice from Microsoft support. Long story short; I knew what the Bing support site looked like and went there. My Alert is that I very much suspect that this employee is making a few bucks on the side by redirecting MS customers to this private website. My suggestion is to be on guard when dealing with MS employees. They are overpaid, but apparently not overpaid enough. They need to do graft as well.
