Question

App data suddenly disappeared

May 29, 2018 1:53AM PDT

My skype software (along with all appdata under the installation package) is completely gone without any notice at all! I don't know what happened but I highly doubt that if someone's hacked into my computer to do so (I did have legal evidences stored under the the appdata folder).
Is there any way to find out if my computer's been hacked?

Unclear what happened, so let me repeat one of our maxims: "You only lose what you didn't backup".

Maybe Windows 10 updated?

I'm seeing reports of settings and app preferences changing with W10's 1803 update.

That's my guess.
