App creators?

Just wondering if any small businesses out their have used any of the app creators on the net and which one is the best?

We use Visual Studio for Windows Apps.
Apple's Developer tools for Apple things.
And the usual Android tool set for Androids.

There are some that use app creation as in NPL (non-programming-language) but you find such apps to come with strings attached or limitations.

If you use a NPL system, be wary of the strings and pot holes.

Talking about app for cell phones primarily.

For android, their free developer suite.
