AOL Organize folder transfer to Win 7

by michhala / January 11, 2011 6:22 AM PST

Over the years, I have properly transferred many AOL Organize folders to new upgraded computers. The Organize folder contains the Personal File Cabinet. In Windows 7, although the correct transferred folder appears to be where it should be, I do not have the correct PFC operating.

If it were not for the fact that my email name to which I am personally attached is not available elsewhere, I would have gone to another provider.

There are many instuctions out there to properly prepare the Organize folder for a transfer from an old to a new computer, but nothing to inform me why I have had no success. If there is anyone out there who can tell me what is different about Windows 7 and why I cannot get the transferred file to work, I will be a happy person.
