aol network magic

Apr 21, 2009 6:27PM PDT

Anyone ever use the AOL network magic software? I had it for awhile and it was pretty nice for keeping track of my home network, I even found a few pc's on my network that should not have been there so I password protected it. I was wondering if there was any freeware out there similar to this software, it shows all the devices, xbox, pc's etc ont he network and their names and allows you to share info and print. Dont want to have to reactivate my AOL if there is something just as good int he freeware somewhere.

Look at what network magic does.

And there is nothing there you can't eventually do yourself. HOWEVER I find many don't want to become a network magician, guru or recite the names of the OSI 7 layers. (heck even I don't do that!)

But what network magic does is very nice and worth every dime compared to calling in the usual terrible home service companies.
