AOL 9.0 VR stops working with Windows 7

My AOL 9.0 VR program stops working quite often on my Lenovo T 500 running a new upgrade version of Windows 7 Ultimate. Vista Ultimate was upgraded. The AOL program stops working and restarts quite frequently and eventually will stay stable. This AOL program did the very same thing in the Vista environment and I was expecting to resolve this problem under Windows 7, evidently not ! Sometimes rebooting the machine will resolve the problem, for awhile but eventually it comes back and eventually it will stay stable for a long time but eventually it will stop working again. I have already tried re-installing the program but that does not seem to resolve this problem. Can anyone offer some help besides forgetting about AOL altogether.

After looking at the features for this program it looks like most of them are already built into Windows 7 or available via Windows Live Essentials. It might be time to switch...

With Windows 7, you should be running AOL 9.5, per AOLtechs. I downloaded 9.5 a week ago, no troubles at all. Go to AOL Live Tech help chat and they'll give you the download link.
