Anyone uses Prosavvy?

Yes, I have been with ProSavvy for about 5 years.

I have a very positive experience with them. As soon as I signed on I landed a $20K ++ job. The range of jobs for me at least is between a low of $5K and a high of $100k ++.

I would suggest that you seriously consider this avenue for incremental jobs. I use them to land jobs that I would not normally get, ie, out of my immediate marketing area, or perhaps jobs that I would not normall see.

The last job, ProSavvy called me to ask me to bid, and I won the deal. They will work with you if you work with them.

Overall, I am pleased - I just sent in my renewal check this week. BTW, I own them about $15,000 in commissions and I am very glad to write that check.

We have been members for 2.5 months and figured that something was a little off - and then we found out that what is supposed to be a clean submission system to the potential client is interrupted and manipulated by the Prosavvy staff including the President -- all this to the betterment of one member against the others. And these members all paid their money and got rated - so the client could choose - not the Prosavvy staff. In our world we call this manipulation and that is not what they indicate they do. So we know they play favorites and do favors. We want out as we consider this unethical.

We are also considering joining, so the two different posts were interesting in their diverse opinions. How were the results a few months later - you say you were on their system just 2 1/2 months then? Curious to hear your point of view.

We paid, and paid, and paid, and spent consider resource responding to more than 40 projects for which we had outstanding, unique capabilities. Heard occasional "consideration" responses, and won nothing.

It was then impossible to reach anyone at the firm for support, coaching, or to lodge complaints. It's like they don't exist. Before you join, try to reach customer support. Impossible.

Dig deeper on the web for complaints about the firm. They're there.

This thing is a total, complete ripoff. I'd be dubious of anyone posting positively on them that wasn't a shill. Think about it: Why would I lie - when I'm promoting no other competing service? Why they lie when they're only promoting competition for their own proposals on projects?

Complaints about Prosavvy are rife, and all too common.

I will do anything I can to tear these thieving ******** down.

Ask them hard, hard questions when you call:

How soon will I close a project? How many consultants applied to a particular project? How are consultants vetted? (They're vetted by Prosavvy themselves.) Who helps us improve our chances of selection?

The firm is seriously bad poison. No other reason for me to rip them than to get back at the way they cheated me.

I too signed up for Prosavvy back in July of '04. I have responed to a number of projects, none ever paned out. I had a sales guy hound me for over a month, and I told him I wanted to talk with someone in a decision making capacity and got a confrence call with the president. He told me I had a special niche that he would personally promote with their pharmaceutical clients which is my core business. I signed up, and after that I never heard from the sales guy again and I was told from someone in marketing they would inform me of the promotion. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing.

I applied for over 65 "projects" and got nothing. Actually I did get close once. A poor crippled guy with no funding needed a hand with a design and I gave him some free help because I felt sorry for him and myself at the moment as we were both saps.

I keep waiting for a 48 Hours or 60 Minutes expose showing these opportunists being walked out of their hideout; I mean office, with their coats over their heads.

It's a perfect business model founded on the same premise as gambling. You sit at the one armed bandit for hours pumping in tons of quarters with nothing to show for your time but a few close calls. You can't walk away because you have taken so many spins that the odds just have to be getting better that the big one is coming.

With Proponzi you get the big one all right, but you can't take it to the bank.

I land 9 out of 10 projects on my own. With tens of millions of dollars of products on the market I know the game rather well. If I couldn't get a single hit out of 65 attempts with proponzi I have to doubt the authenticity of their "projects".

If you want some free advice that could land you more work than you can handle try Google ad words where you bid for banner response to searched terms that you choose and bid on for placement. It could be the biggest secret to success today.

I have been a member with ProSavvy for 8 months. I have been a marketing consultant for 12 years. I close 1 out of every 4 projects I respond to through ProSavvy. There is always a risk involved with marketing. I have more than tripled my investment through their organization. I will continue to use ProSavvy in the future and steer my consulting bretheren their way as well.

ProSavvy is a huge waste of time sand money

This is our 3rd and final year as members of Prosavvy. I have had it. Every single, interesting project is a "personal" search for which they charge higher commissions (and add ZERO VALUE!).

The biggest waste is all the hours lost responding to numerous requests (70 or more in 3 years!) and never getting any response or feedback from Prosavvy. I asked them for advise, thinking maybe it was me; maybe I was doing something wrong, I thought. No - I was doing all the right things to improve my chances. They were of no hlep to me.

I win more than my share of business on my own (67% hit ratio), but never even get nibbles from this service. It's not me - so it must be them that is a problem.

I did win one job in our first year, but that was only becuase I was able to discern who the customer was and I went around the process through other channels to deal directly with the customer. Was this unethical? I don't think so - I still had to pay them a commission!! But I guess that is how others are winning deals, too.

I would advise anybody thinking about using Prosavvy to strongly consider investing the same time and energy (and dollars) in good old fashion networking. It works much better.

Be cautious

Be cautious of anyone asking you to pay to work for them.


ComputerRepair.com asks for only 10% of each work order you complete. So they don't get paid, if you don't work.

That way the system is customized to all of their clients.

For example, if a customer lives in a very rural area, and may only make $15000 per year from ProSavvy, the $7000 it takes to join (plus commission), is not worth it to them.

But if they use computerrepair.com, they only pay for what they have earned, not for simply signing up.

I have heard a lot of negative about ProSavvy.

But I was suspect of them from the get go. I don't pay to work. I GET PAID TO WORK.
