I got this surprise and 50 yes 50 not a typo spyware and adware and a antispyware program from 1 website im just not sure which one.

I have done a virus scan using nortons and scanned the computer using microsofts antispyware and erased everything it came up with but, when i try to change the screen in display properties the browse button is disabled and i cant click on any of the normal windows screens.

I had both nortons and microsofts anti spyware running at the time of infection and stopped some of it. can someone please help me!

install anything.

This is what I did:

Started Regedit (start -> run -> regedit), went to 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System' and erased the entry 'Wallpaper'.

Thats all, now the problem is solved.

This Was taken off Bullguard from someone =) i just wanted to pass on the word and help out =) it worked for me =)

Remember to make a security copy of your registry before trying anything.
