Having switched back to IE9, I still see the anomaly on occasion but not nearly as often as with IE10. The odd browser text appears in FF or IE. I'm suspecting I have a hardware or other issue and will need to test further. It's only a slight annoyance anyway.
After installing IE10, I was regularly seeing odd colored or text with "broken" pixel structure that, if I highlighted it and clicked the mouse or scrolled to where the text was off screen and then scrolled back, it would return to normal. Sometimes a screen refresh would clear it but not always. Strangely this wasn't just in IE as I use FF as my primary browser and that's where I noticed it first. This was a random but regular occurrence in both browsers. I've since uninstalled IE10 and the issue has, so far, not returned. I wish I had a screen shot but it would be difficult to capture. Perhaps I'll reinstall IE10 and see what happens. I'm fairly certain IE weaves itself into the fabric of the OS...or at least did at one time but, that Firefox was also affected, is a mystery.
