Anyone know where I can download Adobe Acrobat 6 Standard

by avcahill / July 17, 2008 1:07 PM PDT

I purchased Adobe Acrobat 6 Standard on CD a few years ago. I recently had to reformat my hard drive and reinstall Windows and when I dug out the Adobe Acrobat Installation CD my computer would not read it. Tried it in my notebook and it will not read it either. I still have the CD jewelcase with the serial number sticker attached. I have searched everywhere looking for a site to, download the installation file from but cannot find the full version, only updates. Adobe is of course no help, they want me to buy(upgrade) to the newest version. Does anyone know of a site which has the older versions of Acrobat Standard archived for download? I have tried but all I found was Adobe Reader, not the full version.

Try that CD on another machine...

Sometimes another drive will read it... if so copy and burn to another CD for trial on the notebook. A friends machine would be ideal for this purpose.

Worth trying.
