Question

Anyone know of software to keep track of survey earnings?

Nov 19, 2013 4:56AM PST

I take online surveys as a way to increase my pension and SS incomes. Come tax time BION we are considered as self employed and must report our survey income in excess of $600. I dunno about the rest of us but I don't keep all those cheque stubs for $3 and $5, $20, $30 or what have ya cheques I am paid throughout the year. Only a few survey groups offer W99 forms to show what I have earned from them for the year. Is there software available to keep track of surveys taken and/or earnings collected from survey groups? It would eb a Godsend to us come tax time. I tried CNET and they shunted me to forums and questions at CNET NEWS- a copout! So how about it? Anyone ever hear of such a software program or website URL? Happy Thanksgiving and thanks- Jack/keimanzero Campbelltown/Palmyra PA

I have also done surveys and product demo in the past to suppliment my income

I found a financial manager software that will accomplish all I need for tax time

It is called Moneydance.com it is a paid software but once you buy the key it can be updated or upgrade at no additional cost

It also gives you 100 entries upon original down load so you can evaluate the system without any cost

The variety of catagories you can set up should fit your needs

I use Quicken. It will import to Turbo Tax. You had better be keeping track of all those checks. Even if you just enter them on an Excel spreadsheet. What I would do is when you get a batch of them to cash or deposit is to copy all the checks to match the deposit. Most printers these days are multi function and make good copies. Just lay as many as you can fit on a sheet. You have to keep good records for taxes!!
