Gwingee, At This Point...Why Another Program?
by Grif Thomas Forum moderator / April 10, 2006 2:13 AM PDT

You been posting a lot lately about a variety of problems. I suggest fixing some of your other issues BEFORE using a registry cleaner of any type... On an XP computer, they aren't of great benefit and in some cases can cause the computer to be unworkable by making incorrect removals.

When I make computer changes, I try to do them one thing at a time. Then wait a week or so to see if any problems come up. That way, I know what to correct when something goes wrong.

Hope this helps.

It is just I always see everyone saying they have a registry cleaner and thought I might need one. I only have now Norton and Ad=Aware Se, SpyBlaster and Ewido..and the Trend Micro came when I got the computer..not gonna add anything Windows Defender.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
