Gwingee, At This Point...Why Another Program?
by Grif Thomas Forum moderator / April 10, 2006 2:13 AM PDT

You been posting a lot lately about a variety of problems. I suggest fixing some of your other issues BEFORE using a registry cleaner of any type... On an XP computer, they aren't of great benefit and in some cases can cause the computer to be unworkable by making incorrect removals.

When I make computer changes, I try to do them one thing at a time. Then wait a week or so to see if any problems come up. That way, I know what to correct when something goes wrong.

Hope this helps.

It is just I always see everyone saying they have a registry cleaner and thought I might need one. I only have now Norton and Ad=Aware Se, SpyBlaster and Ewido..and the Trend Micro came when I got the computer..not gonna add anything else.no Windows Defender.
