Anyone heard of DOOGEE phone?

by Galunic / September 28, 2014 1:07 PM PDT

Hey guys I just found a video about a Chinese brand smartphone called DOOGEE (what a weird name), the configuration seems very nice:

Octa-Core 1.7 GHZ
5.5 inch HD OGS IPS Screen
RAM: 1GB
ROM: 16GB8
Rear camera 13MP and front is 5 MP

Any suggestions? I know nowadays Chinese phones are getting better, some of my friends using xiaomi, meizu etc, I want to try this DOOGEE one though

I can't see the attraction. That is, it's not good enough for you to buy so why?

Thanks for your reply. I just thought it's cheap (really cheap) and the configuration is not bad, though the video is a bit sloppy but still good quality though. Do you have other suggestions for Chinese phones?

My suggestion....

....is to avoid cheap phones altogether. The major concerns are lack of support/warranty service, or if the device will work with your cellular carrier, and no guarantee it will.

As asked your post comes off as a form of spam. And given what prices I see here today I can't say I'd buy this one. That is, what 50 bucks gets me on the refurb market is pretty amazing if price is the issue.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
