Resolved Question

Anyone have troubles viewing iphoto photos after reformat??

Oct 17, 2011 3:30AM PDT

I recently reformatted my macbook (feeling regretful now) and after migrating my "iphoto library" file from external onto my macbook only certain photos will be viewable when I click on them. In addition, I cannot "preview" any when scrolling through events. I have iphoto 11 and am running Lion. PLEASE HELP!!!!

you probably get some form of warning when you try to "view" a picture by double clicking on it.

Ok, so when i hook up my external HD and i make iphoto open up the iphoto library on my external all photos open, but the copy that is on my macbook HD is apparently corrupted (per your post). I just tried copy the library onto my macbook but it says "iphoto is in use" so it cant move it over. Am I doing something wrong? iPhoto def is not open when Im copying the library over, i double checked.
