I have a two year old UN46B7000WF that intermittently loses video, regardless of what input is used.. The audio is fine but the screen is black with some very faint side lighting . The video may reappear for seconds, or minutes without intervention. If the TV is powered off, and then powered back on, the video is fine for awhile, maybe for minutes or even hours. When the video is lost, pressing the Menu button on the remote does not change anything. I connected it to the Internet and I downloaded the latest software. I thought that was the answer because the video stayed on for several hours when the TV was powered on. It is usually powered on about 3 hours per day. When the video is lost, the screen is not totally black as there is some very subtle side lighting. When it is working, the video is outstanding, crisp resolution with great dynamic color range. My question is: is there any known problem with intermittent components, or connections, or any problems with LED driver circuitry? Since it is intermittent, and not particularily associated with excessive heat, it is going to be hard to trace, even for a E-Tech.
