I know that one can run recording software on a PC or Mac , turn the recorded data into MP3s, and using
appropriate software (but I don't know what
that last category is...), make the recordings available
What I'm wondering is this - anyone aware of work
being done to 'compress' this production cycle?
For instance, say I am on the road and can only
take along a cell phone. Would it be possible to
set things up so that I phone some web site,
recording information, and then some how trigger
the process of turning that into a new podcast?
I've read about people blogging from their phones,
and I think even audio blogging and video blogging.
So it _seems_ like the pieces should just about
be available... maybe they are available.
I've even heard of freely accessible teleconferencing
facilities, where people can agree to get together
and have the equivalent of a multi-way call/teleconference. Add that in, and one could even do the equivalence of a talk show podcast...
