You can - and I would recommend to - turn off Anynet+ on your TV with non-Samsung or non-Anynet+ related devices.
You didn't post what model you had, so I used the one from the PN63B550. If you're unable to use this as a guide, post your model number and I'll find the appropriate manual page for your model.
I just purchased a Samsung 63" plasma HDTV and Denon receiver. My PS3 and TV cable box are connected to the receiver with HDMI cables and my receiver is connecetd to the TV with a HDMI cables. All items work fince except that if I stop the PS3, I cannot use the receiver to switch back to TV cable viewing directly. I need to use the Samsung remote to first enter Source and manually cahnge the setting back to the HDMI 1 source where the TV cable is connected in order to view TV again. So, can I disable the Anynet feature (which I thought only worked with Samsung devices) or is there a way to make the receiver recognize I am switching sources so I don't need to use the TV remote?
