Anynet+ Device and Xbox 360 Compatibility

by Mr_Java / October 12, 2011 2:13 PM PDT

I have an Xbox 360 and a Samsung un55c7000
I also have a PS3, when my PS3 is connected it recognizes it as an Anynet+ device automatically, which means if I turn my PS3 on, it automatically turns the TV on, changes the source to the correct source, and has the proper name (Playstation 3)

My question- Is there a way to set up my Xbox 360, to be recognized automatically, and most importantly turn to the correct source automatically.

Sidenote- the list of "names" or "titles" for sources are very short. If I have multiple Video Game systems hooked up, I do not want to call them all "Game" I would like to customize my names for each Source. Is there a way to do that as well.

he asked about compatibility with the xbox 360 not the ps3. The ps3 works just fine with anynet+. But I am wondering the same thing. if the xbox will work with it.

The Samsung RF23M8090SG

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
