Hi, I am looking for good Antivirus for my PC and Avast seems to be free antivirus for windows 10.
Is it really free? Many antivirus programs offer just demo versions and I am sick of trying. Anybody have experience with this antivirus?

Yes, there is a paid version, and there is a free version. I've got no issues with it.
I'm using the free version and it does not give me any problems.
It comes with a bunch of modules and you pick and chose which ones you want to install.
Do a custom install and put a tick in file/mail/web shield.
After you get those setup you can do some reading about the other shields and install if you want.
stick with what comes with win10 and download the free version of malwarebytes. that is all that is needed. Avast is a good antivirus and I used to use it, but since microsoft improved windows defender. IMO, nothing else is needed.
Yes, I am using Avast anti virus. It is a very good anti virus and its free.
I was using Avast, It is good actually.
But it has following cons which should be rectified.
1. Malware update should be updated to the current malware trends.
2. Unnecessary op up ads.
3. Lack of anti-ransomeware, anti-spyware protection
4. Lack of improvement in cloud software
and many more to list out.;
If you prefer my opinion i would suggestion Comodo antivirus for windows 10, It is free with advanced features.
