Any way to display ALL messages in a thread at once?

I checked out the FAQs, but nothing was mentioned on this. I find it very inconvenient to have to click on msg#2, then msg#3, then msg#4, and so on just to read the next post. It's still as hassling to alternatively click on "read next unread message" to do so. What good is a large monitor if only one post gets displayed at once? Are all the users here doing so from their cell phones or PDAs or what?

allowed that [ZDNET back then]. Then we went to the new improved forum software. What a joke.
