Because 120Hz was listed for gaming we know that the usual HDMI connection is not going to work.
And until there is a 120Hz (input rate) display in the sizes you noted, then you keep looking.

I'm looking to get a 37-42 inch flat screen for the room i'm renting. I've looked around but thought it couldn't hurt to see if anyone online could give me some advice. I'm primarily going to be using this tv as a glorified pc moniter by means of an hdmi cable to play pc games on & stream videos.
My budget is around 500-550 & the tv needs to have the following:
- 1080p
- 120 refresh rate (for gaming, so that there is no choppyness when i turn around)
- 37-42 inch
- able to be mounted on a wall
- good viewing angle (im in a small room & expext to be looking at it from awkard angles alot of the time)
ps: Is it worth going with a used or refirbished set if I can get a slightly higher end model for the money by doing that?
