Any Software to Organize/View Many Individual Word Docs?

Feb 18, 2010 2:02AM PST

I am a poet. I have hundreds of poems typed in individual word files, and I am about to go through and organize them. While I'm aware that it might be beneficial to use a program like InDesign for such a project, I would prefer to keep them as individual, editable word docs for the time being.

Does anyone know of a program that can display (and possibly allow editing of) many word docs in a folder one at a time, and organization? The ideal would be something like the way Picasa works with photos, where it would let me see thumbnails of every document in a folder, and then to individual edit, and scroll through, selecting favorites and creating "albums" of selected files, etc.

Thanks!
