A few sets such as old CRTs and plasma units were known to thrown off IR which caused issues with some IR remotes. I also can't guess why such a setup as the CRT without HDMI would be odd if you have a newer gen LG LCD.
I worry you have something unsupportable here.
I'm in a BIG BIG BIG trouble. Help me guys please..
Few hours ago tried to use the satellite receiver outputs same time (HMDI and AV). First connected TV via HDMI and another CRT which doesn't support HDMI to AV output. Everything was okay and I had got the video/audio on both TVs. ALL 3 remotes were working well. Tried to check audio from both TVs same-time/separated and as said before EVERYTHING was fine.
After just 5 minutes, NOW, remote controls of LG TV and the receiver stopped working.
+ LG TV's remote status : Pressing every button turns off the TV. Albeit, I found out it handles the pressed button desired function but immediately it turns off the device. (TV's itself buttons work fine though)
+ Receiver remote status : If I press any button it keeps holding that button pressed i.e. trying to turn up the volume just 1 time, will be ended up with 100% volume...
+ CRT TV remote status : works fine..
-Tried to reset factory TV but no success
-Tried changing batteries but no success
-Tried using my HTC M8 IR remote control but still same (so I'' conclude
it doesn't come back to remote malfunction)
-didn't try software update yet (TV isn't smart one so it doesn't offer a UI update section)
Guys, My dad can't easily cope with the problem. I have less than few hours to solve it. I know what will gonna come next..
Please help me out..
