That's a file copy so if it fails to copy it bit for bit there are huge problems you would be reporting about.
I have a large amount of footage on my AVCHD sony Cx550 camcorder and am shooting in HD FX. I am attempting to shoot for a wildlife documentary film company so quality is of great concern.
My goal is to transfer the HD clips from my camcorder to two external drives. When I connect the camcorder to my computer I can drag the .MTS files directly to my external drive...but I'm wondering if I lose any quality by doing this or if I should import it directly to imovie/other source. I want to make sure I'm keeping the files in as high quality as possible. I wouldn't think there would be loss of quality but figured I would ask. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks ![]()
