Any privacy concerns to using Amazon mp3 downloader?

When you buy mp3s from Amazon you have to install software called Amazon mp3 Downloader. Are there any privacy concerns to this software? Does it snoop around on your computer?

I have the same questions in regards to Amazon Games & Software Downloader software.
