buy a separate blu-ray player. Onkyo makes some of the better HTIB's in my opinion. The ones that are completely integrated often have extremely limited expansion options. 3 years down the line when you want to add another component or upgrade your speakers the last thing you want to find out is that you have to throw out your entire system and start from scratch because the all in one system at that too good to be true price has no more input options or has weird proprietary cabling or amplification (Bose is particularly bad about this too even though their systems are expensive).
So we got a Samsung LED TV a few months back and now need a new HT system to go with it. Thinking will just get one of the in the box ones w/ a Blue Ray player. Was looking at the Samsung ones, but their Apps don't work w/ Verizon FIOS and their Customer Service just sucks in general as I've learned w/ my new TV. Connectivity is important to us, as we want to stream Netflix and Hulu would be nice if it's available.
So, any recommendations for a good quality, but not too expensive HT system that has Blu Ray and works w/ Verizon FIOS?
