Question

Any good phone holders out there for iPhone 6?

Mar 16, 2015 5:05PM PDT

Hi,

Newbie here! I recently bought an iPhone 6. Because of the nature of my work, I need to travel a lot. Having said that, I'm looking to buy a good phone holder/car cradle for my smartphone. Any recommendations? Insights? Thank you in advance! Grin

Get one of those iPhone 6 wireless charger case and holder devices. It's pretty cool to set it in that and not fiddle with wires.

Do you have a preference of dashboard mount or window mount? Also, do you want to be able to rotate the screen (most seem to be able to do this)?

taotronics

Seem to have some pretty good mounts.

Hi,

I prefer dashboard mount. Similar to Strike Alpha if you're familiar with those holders. Thanks btw for answering.

Here's a couple options...seems like a magnet mount might be cool, if you can stand having something mounted to the back of your phone.

iMagnet Cradle-less Universal Car Phone Windshield Dashboard Mount
Magnetic car mounts have become a little more sophisticated in the last year, but a lot of people like the iMagnet, which bills itself as the original magnetic universal magnetic car phone mount and has an adjustable, swiveling head. It costs around $25 (£13 in the UK for a Takuda-branded version) and comes with a small metal plate that you stick onto the back of your phone (it fits under a case).

I personally prefer magnetic mounts to standard frame mounts, but the disadvantage to this type of mount is that you need the metal plate on your phone to use the mount (you can't just stick any phone on the mount).
iOttie Easy One Touch 2 Car Mount Holder
With some dashboard mounts, it can be a little bit of a chore to get your phone in and out of the mount. But iOttie's Easy One Touch 2 ($25, £16, AU$30) helps simplify the process with a one-touch release mechanism. The mount is also highly adjustable and has a telescoping arm which brings your phone a couple of inches closer to you.

I thought this phone car holder was better than the ones you put through your air conditioning hole or putting it against the window shield. Here is the link.It has 2,000+ customer reviews and has 4 stars, which I think its worth purchasing!!
