I had raised this same question a few years back. What is the situation of free software availability at this point in time?
Thank you.

Dropbox can upload that much. Are you reporting your cloud doesn't work?

I have not used Dropbox yet. what is the maximum file size to upload to it?

I do have a couple of free accounts with different providers that allow 50GB each of total storage, my problem is how do i upload 4/5 GB at a time in one file to any of them?

What's wrong with your browser? That's the common way to upload files to Dropbox for example.
Or use ftp if they support it.
Or use their own program to sync the contents of certain folders to their cloud.

Not clear why those possibilities don't work for you.

https://www.dropbox.com/en/help/5 answers that question for dropbox.

I use FILEZILLA to do FTP and other syncing. However Dropbox for me is the simplest as it's pretty hassle free and will retry and eventually get synced up.

I do not seem to find a way to upload big 4/5 GB files/folders to the Cloud Services that offer 15GB or more free storage space per individual account.

I would appreciate to learn about how to solve my problem.

Thank you kindly.

some cloud services have file size limits

total storage and file size limits are two different things. You may have 50 gigs of space but only allowed to upload files no larger than 1 gig. You need to check the service you are using to see if they have this.

Well, since you don't tell how you upload to what cloudservice via what connection and what happens (such as an error message) nobody can tell what goes wrong and how to solve it.

Since you didn't tell the problem, it can't be solved by anybody here.
