Is a post with some hundred Toshiba disassembly posts. No, I don't have your machine but have worked on too many laptops and desktops and more over the years. I've learned to be gentle and keep looking for hidden screws under rubber feet and stickers over the years.
But let's look at this Pentium 2 Intel BX chipset machine. In almost all cases we are limited to 128MB sticks. In a few cases just a pair of 64 MB sticks will work.
If it has 128MB of RAM I'd leave it as is.
I'm trying to upgrade the memory for my Trek 2 AGP, and I found the manual in PDF form, but I can't figure out how the mechanism to lift the keyboard works, and the manual is no help. Could anyone please explain how, exactly, the keyboard unlatches?
