Any experiences with Letstalk.com?

Apr 11, 2005 4:10AM PDT

Hi Everyone,

I would really appreciate any input about these guys. I saw several different "seals of approval" on thier website, as well as a prominent phone number, which I called and spoke to a very helpful (American) representative. They are set up in Texas. They seem to be quite legit, and so very helpful even with me just asking questions.
Any exeperinces are greatly appreciated!

Paul

I ordered a Nokia for Cingular service from there about a month ago and have had no problem - I also got a car charger. The only problem I had was with UPS actually delivering my package to me, but that's another story....

I had very positive experience with these guys!

Well, I placed my order today. First, I had made the call and just asked questions, which the representative answered patiently and politely. Then, when I had decided to place the order, I called the same sales rep back and he patiently walked me through the process, with me still having a considerable amount of questions (I don't buy a cell phone often!). When I got off the phone after placing my order I forgot to answer a question about the number they gave me and I called back; then they put me through to a customer service rep and she helped me with my question. I received an email notification within 30 minutes informing me of my order, and within 3 hours it was shipped!
So far my experience with letstalk.com has been very very good.

Do some research on the company, buyer beware!

I started looking around and can find nothing but negative experiences from actual customers. It seems that Wirefly.com/inPhonic.com/letstalk.com are all owned by the same corp. and it seems like they all run the same scam. They offer huge rebates and cheap prices, but there is lots of fine print, and it seems like no one ever sees their rebates. Just search around cnet and google for yourself and then take the chance if you want. I dicided to just pay more and get phones/serivce from a corp owned store.
