I still have this issue. I have now downloaded and tried copies of fsecure, avira, and avast as well. I am running out of options. What is so hard about this? I dont feel its an illegitimate request
So I am at a very frustrating loss. I myself as well as members of the household tend to regularly download files that make antivirus software go batty. Whether its a trainer patch for a game or a "hacker" program I use to test my websites for vulnerabilities.
I need an antivirus solution that EASILY allows me to add a file to an exception list. I don't want to have to go to a menu, then browse, etc etc. I want a popup that says "delete, disinfect, or add to exceptions"
I am very aware of the dangers of disabling antivirus. Please don't waste your time on that subject.
I used to be able to do this with nod32 2.7 and was a very happy camper. It seems now that nothing new easily allows you to have control of your computer. The antivirus software feels like malware itself and requires black magic to get around.
I have tried trials of Kaspersky, new nod32 v3, avg... None of them seem to do what I am looking for.
Anyone able to point me to a GOOD working antivirus program that allows me to easily add a program or file to my exception list?
