antivirus programs

got access to 2 antivirus programs and was wondering what others thought of them
1. trend-micro PC-Cillin
2. Panda antivirus


i have heard that both do pretty good just wondering which one others felt was the better program. looking for ease of use and regular updates

This is much like the Ford or Chevy discussion. Both work well with XP and have updates when needed or such.

Updates are driven by factors that are driven to a schedule of "daily, weekly, monthly" but by when some malware writer lets a new bug loose that makes an impact.

Free AVG is noteworthy as well.

thanks both for the responses. i am already using AVG Free 6.0. just that both of these programs were presented to me and was thinking of using one or the other. just trying to get some insight as to which works better.
